The TTONE project, led by Nien-Fu Chen and Yui Komatsu, began in April 2012 and was completed in June 2012. The designers aimed to create a toothbrush that not only promotes dental hygiene but also adds an element of excitement to the daily routine of children.

TTONE has received recognition for its innovative design. It was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in the Baby, Kids, and Children's Products category in 2013. This prestigious award acknowledges the creativity and ingenuity of the design, which incorporates best practices in art, science, design, and technology.
